When dancer "Shorty" George Snowden was asked in 1927 at a Harlem dance club the name of his dance, Shorty supposedly replied "Lindy Hop" upon glancing at the nearby newspaper headline - LINDY HOPS THE ATLANTIC.

Let's Dance
